SJCAM A20 Body Camera Price in India

SJCAM A20 Body Camera / Action Camera is now available to purchase in India. It has an MRP price of Rs 25,000. The current lowest price as of this writing is Rs 14,224. In the US, the price for the model is $220 and on AliExpress it is $201.49.

Amazon.in has also listed SJCAM SJ10 Pro on their website which is a proper Action camera like GoPro and has a price tag of Rs 22,178 ( check here )



According to the official specs sheet, SJCAM A20 has Sony IMX335 sensor which is a 5MP sensor made for surveillance and security cameras. In the specs sheet SJCAM claims, this can shoot 16MP shots and take 4K videos. I am not sure how they are doing that with a 5MP sensor.

The F2.5 aperture lens on the SJCAM A20 offers a 166° Degree Super Wide Angle view. It is powered by Novatek NT96660 chipset and has a 2650mAh battery. The display is a 2.33" TFT LCD one.

Can it produce better photos and images than a GoPro Hero 8 or Osmo Action Cameras? No. According to the official description, "The A20 BodyCam is designed with law-enforcement people in mind. It is another layer of defense and a deterrent for offenders which give officers of the law a better handle of situations". This would be a good buy to use as a Dashcam as well.
